ALTERNATIVE MUSIC FOUNDATION

P.O. BOX 1058

BERKELEY, CA 94710.

After 40 years of an all-ages volunteer-run venue that is managed and collectively run by the members, 924 Gilman is trying to move out of renting our space. The 924 Gilman crew is trying to raise 5 million dollars in order to purchase the building and property in order to ensure decades more of underground and DIY music from the Bay Area to the world punk community.

The money we raise will be used in order to purchase the building, keep ticket prices low, and renovate and repair the building as needed so that the music never dies. If you have been a life long member of the 924 Gilman community please consider donating to help us reach this goal. If you have never been to Gilman, your donation will help us maintain an all ages friendly space where all are welcome.

Your support will help us keep this place running where bands hone their skills, members learn a variety of skills, and where the people making the music are the ones in charge of the space and the community.

All donations are tax deductible, as 924 Gilman is a project of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Alternative Music Foundation.
